HOLLYWOOD COMES TO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WITH MORE ZAP!
More Zap Productions had a successful 10 city tour with Trawick Artists/Community Concerts LLC. More Zap continues the tradition started in the 1920's with the likes of the Von Trapp Family Singers in bringing culture to communities that don't get to see great live theatre often. Community Concerts has included famous groups like the Arthur Fiedler Orchestra and Leontyne Price. Our show merged the concert format with live theatre and cabaret, and presented an intimate evening of nostalgic music, energetic dance and comedy.
Our tour starred Gregg Engle, Calvin Remsberg and Michelle Zeitlin. Robbi Morgan and Garen Michaels also guest-starred for some shows. Saif Eddin Bayati was the on-tour pianist, and Jerry Sternbach was the musical arranger/director.
The show is now available for corporate and special events, tours, cruise ships and theatrical venues. Contact us now for a press packet and reviews.
Cast of 10 singer-dancers perform the hits from "Phantom of the Opera," "Evita," "Cats," and "Sunset Blvd."
Live four piece band and pre-recorded tracks, together to create both intimate and grand musical moments.
Spectacular colors and elegance, opening with the "Masquerade" ball, featuring a ghostly ballerina on pointe...then "Music of the Night" explodes from opera star Calvin Remsberg (Sweeney Todd, Washington Opera)...growing with a hot "Buenos Aires" in reds and fushias...and building to the "Jellicle Ball" with a stage full of cat tails leaping and spinning...and of course, the ultimate "Memory!"
Also featuring a cast of original Webber singers and dancers from Broadway and National tours...
